i mean hogwarts was founded in the 8th/9th century. dunno if you know about europe in the 8th/9th century but…there wasn’t much going on inside their heads (not that there weren’t any intelligent people in Europe, just…they were too busy shunning science and stuff). i posit that it could have actually plausible that rowena ravenclaw, who valued knowledge, could have been from the middle east. that is all.
